Brad & Kim Rammel

Renshi Brad Rammel began his martial arts training in 1989. He holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shorei Goju Ryu Karate and a 1st Degree Black Belt in Zanshin Ryu Jujutsu. He has trained under Hanshi Herb Johnson, the late former head of Shorei Goju Ryu, and continues his training under Hanshi Phil Morgan, 10th Dan, the current leader of the style.

In 2021, Renshi Rammel was promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt by Hanshi Phil Morgan. In 2022, he was appointed as one of the Chief Instructors of the National Shorei Goju Ryu Association.

Renshi Rammel also trains under Sensei Shane Lear in Zanshin Ryu Jujutsu, a discipline he began studying in the early 2000s. He earned his Black Belt in Zanshin Ryu Jujutsu in 2012. In addition, he cross-trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and currently holds the rank of Blue Belt.

Renshi Rammel has been married to his wife, Kim, for 32 years. Together, they have two children, Bria and Brooke, both of whom have also earned black belts. Bria holds a 4th Degree Black Belt, and Brooke holds a 1st Degree Black Belt.

Stone Tiger Dojo Martial Arts Academy is proud to continue the tradition of martial arts training while helping students grow stronger in body, mind, and character.

Bria Doner

Sensei, 5th Degree Black Belt

Sensei Bria Doner is the daughter of Chief Instructor Brad Rammel and serves as Assistant Instructor for the Stone Tiger Dojo Karate Programs. She has been dedicated to martial arts training since 1996 and now continues this tradition through her daughter, Brecklynn, who also trains at the Stone Tiger Dojo.

As an instructor, Bria works closely with younger students to cultivate their martial arts abilities. She has extensive experience in tournament competition and demonstrates a strong commitment to passing her expertise to her students.

In December 2022, she was awarded her 4th Degree Black Belt and is currently pursuing the requirements for 5th Dan.


Maxwell Watercutter

Sensei, 4th Degree Black Belt

Sensei Maxwell Watercutter began his training at Stone Tiger Dojo in 2010 at the age of seven. He earned his 1st Dan in 2020, followed by a promotion to 2nd Dan later in 2022. In 2024, he achieved the rank of 3rd Dan.

Max graduated from Minster High School in May 2022 and recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Cybersecurity at Ohio Northern University. He is currently employed by Nidec Press and Automation.

When asked what he enjoys most about karate he responded “The sense of community mainly. You get to meet amazing people from all walks of life, both in classes and at tournaments. Plus, when you meet those people you have at least one piece of common ground to get to know them through which I think is a beautiful thing.”

He has been a great asset working hard to help shape the students Journey. He is currently pursuing his 4 th degree Black Belt.


Ethan Otting is a 3rd Dan at Stone Tiger Dojo and started his training in 2010 when he was 8 years old. He received his 1st Dan in 2019, and his 3rd Dan in 2024.

He graduated from Minster High School in 2020 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wright State University in 2025. The thing that he loves most about karate is the community and the bond you make with those you train with.

He has made many life-long friends throughout his 16 years of training and is grateful that karate allowed him to find his people.

DeltaTeam: Dedicated Enthusiastic Loyal Teaching Assistants The DELTA Team is made up of higher ranking students from our adult karate class who volunteer to help assist in our junior karate class, allowing for smaller group training and more individual attention.
