Stone Tiger Challenge Benefit Martial Arts Tournament

All styles are welcome!

Join us for the 2027 Stone Tiger Challenge, a benefit martial arts tournament featuring karate, kata, weapons, kumite, Gi grappling, and No-Gi grappling.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cancer Association of Mercer County.

Two gymnasiums will be used for this year’s tournament.

Event Schedule

  • Grappling registration and weigh-in: 7:00–8:45 AM

  • Gi and No-Gi grappling begins: 9:00 AM

  • Karate registration: 8:00–11:30 AM

  • Black Belt meeting: 11:30 AM

  • Karate competition begins: 12:00 noon

Registration Fees

  • $50: Kata, weapons, and kumite

  • $45: Gi or No-Gi grappling

  • $60: Gi and No-Gi grappling

  • $70: Karate and one grappling division

  • $90: All events

All checks should be made payable to Stone Tiger Dojo.

Early Registration Discounts

  • Save $10 off your total registration when registered by February 12, 2027.

  • Save $5 off your total registration when registered by April 21, 2027.

Awards

  • Grand Champion Awards in Kumite, Kata, and Grappling

  • First, second, and third-place trophies

  • Fourth-place medals

Admission

  • General admission: $5

  • Children five years old and younger: Free

  • Cash or check only at the door on the day of the event

Grappling Referee

The head grappling referee will be Jerry Poe, a licensed Bellator and UFC official.

Concessions

A concession stand will be available with sandwiches and gourmet cupcakes by Brooke’s Bakes.
